To start off, you're probably wondering what a "fine living catalog" is. Well, it's a catalog that caters to the finer side of  life, like gourmet food, wine, fine home decor, travel, gardening. There's nothing in here that can be construed as a necessity by any stretch of the imagination, it's just about living well.

The reason this is my specialty is because I know a lot about these areas and understand the buying motivations behind items like these. I'm a gourmet cook, wine appreciator, gardening maven with an eye for home decorating. And - I'm a travel writer. At the risk of sounding a bit conceited, I've just got a very good feel for all of these things.

I'm also a fan of Herschell Gordon Lewis, arguably one of the best catalog copywriters in the U.S. today. I've studied his techniques and apply them to the catalog copy I write. Which makes for some pretty darn good copy blocks!

As far as pricing goes, I'm currently asking for $30 per copy block. Of course, I will negotiate within what the current pay standard is for your company - especially if it's higher ;-) !

I've also worked on other marketing materials, including brochures, press releases, web copy, sales letters and scripts. My pricing for these is on a per project basis.
